The women who carry the mission
Four women from Huila embody the Phoenix mission on the ground. Each one carries a pillar of the foundation — and each one tells, in her own words, what transformation means.
Paola
María Paula Cerquera Sandoval
Paola has carried the ecological restoration pillar for more than two years, from community planting days in Rivera to the international events where she represents the foundation. This project taught her that regenerating the earth also means regenerating our bond with all living things — every tree planted, she says, tells a story of hope and rebirth. And to every visitor who walks the corridors with her, she repeats the same simple thing: restoration is not a project you finish, it is a relationship you keep.
“This project taught me that regenerating the earth also means regenerating our bond with all living things. Here, every tree planted tells a story of hope and rebirth.”
Danny
Danna Gómez Segura
Danny has accompanied the sustainable infrastructure pillar for more than two years, and represents it at international events. Building, she insists, is not just erecting walls — it is creating spaces that breathe, inspire and endure. That is why her favourite tour for visitors is never the finished structures but the joints: where guadua meets stone, where the roof meets the rain, where a building admits it belongs to a climate.
“Building is not just erecting walls. It is creating spaces that breathe, inspire, and endure.”
Carol
Daniela Valentina Palencia Luna
Carol has been engaged with the foundation for more than two years and represents the art, culture and education pillar at international events. For her, art and education are the most powerful tools for transformation — to teach, in her words, is “to plant seeds of awareness for future generations.”

Mariana
Mariana Ramírez Peña
Mariana has embodied the well-being pillar for over two years, in Rivera and at the international events where she represents the foundation. At Phoenix she rediscovered the strength of the body but also the peace of the mind — here, she says, “we don't train just to be stronger — we train to be more alive.” Her rule fits on one line and survives every excuse: do one percent more than yesterday, every day, and let the days do the arithmetic.
“I rediscovered the strength of the body but also the peace of the mind. At Phoenix, we don’t train just to be stronger — we train to be more alive.”

We don’t believe in temporary solutions
We believe in deep transformations — those that restore meaning to progress and strength to life itself. Support a project with real impact, rooted in strong values and a long-term vision.
